I found this recipe on Dana McDonald’s personal health and fitness Facebook page, and I absolutely love it! This one has a lot of ingredients, but it’s well worth the time and effort.
1 cup chopped cherry tomatoes
½ red bell pepper chopped fine
½ orange or yellow bell pepper, chopped fine
½ red onion or 4 green onions, minced
¼ cup chopped cilantro
½ clove garlic, minced
juice of ½ lime
1 tsp. raw honey
1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
pinch of sea salt
1. Mix the onion and lime and salt together first in a mixing bowl and let it sit while you cut up the rest of the vegetables.
2. Mix the rest of the ingredients together and enjoy!
