My little sisters and I are always making fruit smoothies in the summer. They are a great way to cool off when it’s blazing hot outside.. and healthy too! One day, my baby sister told me that our aunt made her a really tasty smoothie with spinach in it… I called my aunt for the recipe to try it, and to my surprise, it tasted really good!
Aunt Janie’s Smoothie recipe:
1 cup-1.5 cup orange juice
1 cup-1.5 cup of fresh strawberries
1 handful of spinach
Put the orange juice in a blender.
Add the banana, strawberries and spinach.
Add ice last.
Blend all ingredients together.
**For an extra creamy taste, I like to add a few scoops of vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt. :)
